Mitch And Mort

Mitch and Mort went to the court

To play a little game.

The court was closed to their dismay

Their lives were not the same.

Then Mitch abruptly turned to Mort,

While keeping social distance,

“We need to keep all others safe,”

Which triggered Mort’s insistence:

“I need to play!” “I need to play!”

Mort shouted ever stronger.

Mitch just sighed and softly said,

“Resist a little longer.”
